Small but necessary changes

I am doing very good :)
I'm getting excited and am definitely ready to go to Oregon Haha. I like it here but it's starting to get old fast.

I've seen Malcolm West twice now which is awesome -in fact I saw him right as he walked into the MTC and we talked for a bit then I saw him at breakfast today!

This week has been probably my favorite week at the MTC so far.
I've been learning about repentance a lot and have come to understand the doctrine of repentance so much more, It is such a joyful doctrine.

Repentance isn't just going to the bishop because you've committed a serious transgression, repentance is more often than not making small but necessary changes in your life to come closer to Christ and to better aline yourself with Gods will.

My favorite part of the MTC is experiencing this every day in my own life.
Watching myself be molded like clay into the missionary God needs me to be.

One scripture that could easily be my favorite at the moment is Ether 12:27
It describes repentance and this process that I have been watching myself go through perfectly.

To sum it all up repentance isn't just asking for forgiveness obviously that's part of it but true daily repentance is coming to christ and making simple but necessary changes in our own lives to prepare to meet God and to perform the works which we were placed on this earth to perform.
